Guilt By Association: A Double Standard

If you have been watching the Presidential and Vice Presidential Debates, it is unlikely that you have not noticed that every time Barack Obama or Joe Biden mention “the failed (economic / foreign / domestic / etc.) policies of the last eight years” or President Bush, they make every effort to link John McCain to the current President.

But this is a double standard, as we regularly see Obama’s supporters – including most pundits and journalists in the mainstream media – cry foul when anyone discusses his connections to unsavory characters like Bill Ayers, Tony Rezko and “Rev.” Jeremiah Wright.
